THE TARABA STATE PDP SECRETARY, HON. KURIYA AUTA IS A SNITCH IN THE PARTY – Mr. Magaji
A group of elders, youths and women from the Ndola wards in Kurmi Local Government Area has refuted claims of suspending the chairman of Baissa ward in the PDP, Hon. Ammamzalla John Danladi Joseph.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Kuriya Magaji said the purported suspension is false propaganda being spread by the PDP state secretary, Hon. Kuriya Tafarki Auta. He stated that no ward congress or executive meeting was held in Baissa to suspend Hon. Ammamzalla before, during or after the 2023 general elections.
Magaji explained that Hon. Ammamzalla delivered all PDP candidates in the elections held on March 18. He questioned how someone who worked faithfully for the party’s success can be suspended.
The group alleged that Hon. Auta collected money to supervise the gubernatorial election in Kurmi but refused to show up, leading to PDP’s loss in the local government area. They said this is proof that Hon. Auta committed anti-party activities, not Hon. Ammamzalla.
Hon. Auta is accused of planning to impose three civil servants as PDP chairmanship candidates in Kurmi, even though they lack grassroots support compared to Hon. Ammamzalla’s track record.
The group passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Ammamzalla’s candidacy for the November 18 local government election. They called on the PDP leadership to check Hon. Auta’s excesses which they say will destroy the party in Kurmi.
