Taraba state Governor Dr Agbu Kefas has declared free primary and secondary education in the state starting from the next academic term.
The Governor was speaking in Wukari when he paid an impromptu visit to some primary and secondary schools.
Governor Kefas assured the students and pupils of quality education standards, adding that his administration will ensure the provision of a conducive environment for them to learn.

The governor said the education sector in the state will be upgraded to standard and urged the students to concentrate on their studies in other to achieve good results.
Our Reporter Shafiu Ibrahim gathered that, the schools visited by the Governor includes: Government day secondary school wapan Nghaku, Ebenezer primary school Wukari, saint Mary primary school, and GSS Wukari among others.
The governor took time to move around the school’s to assess the structures and sat in the classroom with students and pupils.
This has awaken hope in the Educational sector of Taraba as Parents, students and pupils rejoice with the new development
